Fiordland

Fiordland – Perhaps the most beautiful location in the world

Wild and dramatic scenery.

The magnificent Fiordland National Park and Milford Sounds are the most photographed regions in New Zealand and are internationally acclaimed as one of the worlds most spectacular heritage parks.

A cruise on the Milford sounds is the New Zealand Automobile Associations number one thing to do in New Zealand.  Put it on your bucket list now!

The Fiords are of unparalleled beauty with tall snow-capped mountains reflecting in the calm waters. It is one of the great wilderness areas of the Southern Hemisphere.

This is an area where snow-capped mountains, rivers of ice, deep lakes, unbroken forests and tussock grasslands produce a landscape of exceptional beauty. Some of the best examples of animals and plants, which were once found on the ancient super-continent of Gondwana, still exist here.

Employment is understandably difficult to obtain here but nothing is impossible, right? Placements have been made in the past in the tourism sector close by this region with coach line and marine diesel mechanics repairing passenger vessels touring the Doubtful and Milford Sounds.

OK warranted, 2 placements in sixteen years in this region is not exactly mass employment.  None the less, wouldn’t you love to be the lucky sod we placed repairing the cruise boat the Milford Wanderer a few years ago. By all accounts, he gets to cruise around the Milford and Doubtful sounds all day long.

We trust you enjoyed your virtual tour around New Zealand, now take a look at the jobs!
