Coromandel

One of the most beautiful regions of New Zealand is the Coromandel Peninsula. With beaches, bush, mountains, rivers and islands that are amongst some of the world’s best. Just 2.5 hours from Auckland Coromandel is understandably the chosen holiday destination of many Aucklanders. This is a region that often has employment opportunities in the numerous towns surrounding the Coromandel Peninsula, such as in Whitianga, Whangamata, Thames, Tairua, Paeroa and Te-Aroha.

Hot Water Beach is on the East Coast of this location and ranked as one of the world’s top ten most beautiful beaches with golden sand, rolling surf, a native Pohutakawa forest (New Zealand’s Christmas tree) unspoilt sand dunes and to top it all off you can dig a hole in the sand on the beach front and lay inside your own homemade hot water mineral bath taking in the view of the rolling surf and Ocean beach views. This is but one of hundreds of uniquely spectacular sites that can be found on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Camping, fishing, diving, kayaking, hiking, gem hunting, climbing, sightseeing and all sorts of activities, can be found in the Coromandel Peninsula including the world-renowned Cathedral Cove. Crystal clear blue water, magic native forests and immeasurable beauty all combine to make Coromandel a very special place indeed. Boating in Coromandel can be fascinating with dolphins, orcas, flying fish, whales and an incredible abundance of sea life around this region.

Motor industry Employment opportunities and jobs are driven by tourism, aquaculture, recreational marine, forestry, construction and farm machinery. Talk to your consultant at Automotive Employment NZ as dependent on your employment, not all towns have full dealer sites.
