Queenstown – An internationally renowned tourist mecca

Population: 28,000

Another boom town, Queenstown is a tourism mecca. The mountains of Queenstown lakes district have made Queenstown a world class ski resort with the Remarkables, Coronet and Cardona all offering superb facilities. World class are the words to ponder on here for a moment.  This place is magical. Surrounded by majestic mountains and set on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, the natural beauty and the unique energy of the region create the perfect environment for a boom town in the middle of an Apris ski resort type environment.

Now Queenstown has become an international tourist mecca the permanent population  is also expanding and niche market vehicle dealerships are popping up everywhere.

What to do in Queeenstown.

Bungy jumping, jet boating, historic gold mining towns, trout and salmon fishing, white water rafting, snow skiing, climbing, parachuting, base jumping, heli-skiing, the Routeburn and Kepler world famous tracks are all activities in this region to enjoy. To top it all off the nightlife is superb given the popularity of this region as a tourism centre.

We now have frequent roles emerging across a large range of industry sectors in Queenstown.  These include roles for Automotive Technicians, Vehicle Staff  and Diesel Mechanics.  Every now and then roles also emerge for various management positions.

Accommodation expensive in Queenstown so our tip here is to reside in nearby Cromwell and commute to work. Yes it may well be possible to move to this location.
