We are currently recruiting for a driven, experienced Workshop Manager to assist in leading the service department in this busy, Wellington based workshop.


The role and duties
As Workshop Manager, you will assist in leading the workshop alongside the Service and Parts Managers.

Duties will include:

• Supervising, training, and mentoring workshop staff
• Ensuring quality control of work completed
• Dealing with customers and customer complaints
• Ensuring quality control of work completed
• Managing productivity and efficiency
• Liaising with other departments where necessary

Skills and experience required

• The ideal candidate is an experienced Workshop Manager, however, those in a Workshop Foreman, Workshop Controller, or other similar role looking for a step up who are technically skilled and have solid leadership skills will be considered
• Confident and effective team leader with a proven ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Thrives in dynamic environments and consistently meets deadlines.
• Track record of streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Solid interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships
• A current WOF licence as well as a clean and current drivers licence
