This busy family owned and operated workshop on the North Shore is requiring an aftermarket qualified and experienced mechanic with WOF Certificate to take on a Working Foreman role.
The role
The role includes minor and major mechanical repairs, services, as well as electronic diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles both passenger and light commercial.
Your day will consist of normal services, WOF inspections, engine and transmission repair up to major overhauls. Due to the nature of the role, on some occasions you will be required to open and close the workshop and liaise with clients directly.
Hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm with occasional weekend work.

Remuneration
Above industry remuneration is on offer in line with skills, experience, and stability of employment - pay rates of around $35 to $40 per hour are on offer for the right candidate.

Requirements
- Trade qualified motor mechanic
- WOF Certificate
- Post qualification experience and vast knowledge on many brands
- Excellent diagnostic skills
- Communicates well with colleagues and customers
- Clean drivers license
- Must have a clean record i.e. no drugs or criminal convictions
- Reliable with good work ethic
- Prior foreman or supervisory experience a bonus
