We are looking for an experienced Automotive WOF Technician to join a well-established, high-performing automotive dealership in Tauranga.

About the role
You'll be joining an experienced and collaborative workshop team, carrying out WOF inspections, servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a broad range of vehicles.
 
Reporting to a respected Manager, you'll have the support and resources to perform at your best while working in a business that places a strong emphasis on quality workmanship, customer care, and team culture.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Perform WOF inspections in accordance with NZTA requirements
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
• Work to manufacturer specifications and repair standards
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and warranty processes
• Complete road testing and quality checks as required
• Stay up to date with new vehicle technology and technical developments
• Maintain high standards of health and safety within the workshop
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver quality customer outcomes

 
What we're looking for

• Relevant automotive trade qualification
• Current WOF Inspector certification - essential
• Strong experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Proven ability to work on petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles
• Previous franchise dealership experience is highly regarded
• A stable employment history
• Strong communication and professional presentation
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Positive, team-focused attitude
• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain consistent workflow
• Full, clean driver's licence
