An opportunity exists to join the busy team of a specialist aftermarket parts company in Auckland.
The role
This is a varied role in a busy sales team that will predominantly involve dealing with enquiry over the phone and handling with phone and the counter.
You will be selling automotive parts in a well-established second hand parts business where the team is very social and active working together.
The role will also involve picking, packing, cleaning, and checking car parts.
This is a 40 hour, Monday to Friday work week, with weekend work on the rare occasion
Requirements
- You must have an interest in and a basic understanding of cars
- Customer focused attitude
- Desire to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
- Because you will need to occasionally handle heavier car parts, you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness
- Attention to detail and well organised
- Good communication skills
- Solid work ethic and reliable
- Able to work well within the team in a busy work environment
- A full driver's license, while not essential, will prove advantageous
