The position
Within the role you will be servicing the parts requirements of a busy workshop, dealing with retail customers, responsible for stock taking, and able to read and understand parts catalogues.
This role has the scope for growth and, if you are the right fit, you could see yourself in a senior role within no time. The current Parts Manager is looking for someone to mentor into a Senior Parts Advisor/2IC role.
Skills sought
We are seeking applications from skilled Parts Interpreters who ideally have experience in a franchise automotive dealership. We are unconcerned with which brand your skills lie. You will already be working with a dealer management software program and be a capable parts specialist.
You will need at least 2 years of parts experience in the light automotive franchise sector but, if you have experience in a non-franchise environment, we still want to hear from you.
You should have good computer skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
