About the role

What you will do
- Develop and manage an exclusive pipeline of high-value new-vehicle prospects
- Guide customers through the entire sales journey from initial contact to delivery, ensuring a premium, personalised experience
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, including features, performance, technology, safety, and lifestyle benefits
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide tailored vehicle recommendations
- Present compelling, values-driven proposals and negotiates terms to close sales while protecting brand integrity
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, fostering repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with management, F&I (finance & insurance), and service teams to ensure seamless ownership experiences
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity logs, and forecast reports
- Represent the brand strongly at corporate events, tastings, launches, and referral partnerships
- Uphold brand standards, visual merchandising, and showroom presentation at all times
- Continuous self-development to stay ahead of market trends, competitors, and product innovations
Key requirements
- A franchise new-vehicle background with a proven sales track record in the luxury or premium sector
- Impeccable communication skills - the ability to speak Mandarin is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to engage with high-net-worth clients with discretion, tact, and professionalism
- Strong negotiation, closing, and objection-handling abilities
- Professional appearance and polished customer-service mindset
- Strong time management, self-motivation, and goal-driven attitude
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Remuneration and benefits
- Attractive retainer plus lucrative performance-based commissions
- Target total annual remuneration in the $120,000 to $160,000 range
