The company and the roles
Recognised as one of the top brands in the IE and IC forklift sector, recent rapid growth has led the way to new roles emerging.
A point of difference for this company is the stock holdings presently available. Literally hundreds of new units are on the way so you will be positioned to deliver units in a market that more commonly has back orders for several months.
The range of hoists and equipment is all encompassing covering everything from ride-on IC forklift trucks to IE ride-ons, reach trucks, warehousing equipment, and even container handling equipment.
The successful applicant will find themselves in an enviable position. A product range across multiple primary industry areas, warehousing, and portside equipment.
For the most part the NZ stock holding will prove superior and the brand is accepted among the leading heavy equipment brands..
We have four roles covering the whole New Zealand territory:
- Auckland based - serving Auckland up to the top of the North Island
- Auckland based - serving Auckland to Huntly
- Christchurch or Nelson based - serving the upper South Island down to Christchurch
- Dunedin, Invercargill, or Gore based - serving the lower South Island up to Christchurch
The skills sought
This is not an entry role; it is a senior capital equipment sales role.
We are seeking applications ideally from materials handling sales professionals in the forklift sector. Consideration may also be given to those selling associated products such as racking systems, forklift attachments, elevated work platforms, hire equipment, or other heavy equipment such as construction, drilling, forestry, or agricultural equipment.
Essentially you will need to possess some capital equipment sales skills in a relatively equivalent industry where electrohydraulic systems are in use.
2021 is the year of opportunity; the remuneration structure has been designed to provide a high base salary and additional earnings well into the six-figure income bracket.
You will likely already be working a 5-day work week and you would continue doing so in this role, though exhibitions, conferences etc., where applicable, are excluded.
The most significant benefit is the employer themselves. Known to us well, we recognise the working environment is terrific. The company's history is exceptional in terms of employee treatment.
Being one of the leading companies in this sector, the career opportunities will be self-evident.
How to apply
Applications from those based locally in the areas mentioned above as well as those wishing to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome.
