About JOBCORP, Automotive Employment NZ, and Property Employment NZ
Automotive Employment NZ is NZ's specialist motor industry recruitment company with historical trading dating back to 1991.
JOBCORP NZ Ltd is our parent company which owns Automotive Employment NZ, Property Employment NZ, and JOBCORP NZ-Immigration.
Central to our recruitment operation is the relocation of skilled migrants, largely from South Africa where we enjoy strong support and loyalty but also the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, UAE, the Philippines, and other countries.
Some 3,000 families, representing an estimated 9,000 temporary visas and an additional 4,500 residency visas, have relocated to New Zealand through our company since 1991.
Traditionally, immigration advice was outsourced. Each year this business has extended. The need to provide a seamless recruitment and immigration service to our migrants given higher volumes necessitated the appointment of our in-house licensed immigration adviser in 2019.
With borders reopening, our immigration work now exceeds the capacity; an additional LIA is now required, particularly so given strategic development planned for our immigration business.
The role
Our LIA enjoys working with pre-screened skilled migrants which are forwarded to the LIA to provide immigration advice. We find a job offer and ensure they are ready to move to NZ.
The LIA provides immigration advice to the migrant and the employer hiring the migrant.
Providing advice to employers on accreditation and employer led applications is also part of the role, so too is providing advice to industry associations and corporates.
There are a variety of other applications you will need to provide advice on such as residency applications, student visas etc. where and when applicable.
JOBCORP NZ provides a unique working environment where you will be involved in a range of activities. This role will involve providing immigration advice across most categories, marketing, network development, development of new markets and administrative functions across recruitment and immigration.
You would need to be prepared to be involved in administrative office support functions, particularly so during 2022. This extends to both the recruitment and immigration arms in the calendar year.
The role reports to our Recruitment Manager, as well as our senior LIA. There is also a content of strategic work alongside the Director relating to marketing and development.
The skills and qualifications sought
You will need to hold a New Zealand diploma in Immigration Advice allowing you to provide immigration advice as required by IAA regulations.
We would prefer a fully licensed immigration adviser although some consideration will be given to applicants with relevant qualifications and a provisional license. Our fully qualified LIA can supervise an appropriately skilled applicant if required.
Our team is bright, fresh thinking, engaging, and efficient. We would like the person who joins us to possess the same attributes.
Central to our business philosophy are friendly, open, and transparent business dealings. If there is one attribute, we value above all others it is DECENCY.
The challenge and rewards
The role pays a base salary with profit share that is targeting an annual income approaching $100,000 per annum. It is likely that, for the first few months while your role includes a content of administration work, the OTE would be lower but still represent attractive earnings.
Other benefits include:
- Parental and care benefits
- A degree of flexibility in hours worked
- Free birthday off
- Community service day off
- Wellness policies
- Company days out and team building activities
The successful candidate will join a lovely team who are supportive of one another, efficient, and well resourced.
