Seeking qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join a busy workshop based in Waikato.


The company
This family-owned workshop started out as a single branch almost a decade ago and they have since opened a second branch due to being in absolute growth mode.

The company has become a well known name in the industry and service both the Auckland and Waikato regions.

Both branches offer a wide array of services including mechanical and electrical repairs on cars, utes, earthmoving equipment, forklifts, and other exciting gear.


The role and skills sought
These roles will see you out in the field as well as in the workshop performing a wide range of repairs and services on cars, trucks, earthmoving equipment, forklifts, and more.

You will need to be a qualified mechanic and will therefore need to hold a relevant automotive trade certificate. Although diesel experience is preferred, we will consider a mechanic from a light automotive background with strong diagnostic skills that would like to make a change.

Due to the role being both field and workshop based you would need to have the ability to work unsupervised as well as have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Your application would have an added bonus if you have had experience on the abovementioned gear as well as if you hold a heavy vehicle license but this is not essential to be considered for the role.
