We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join their Auckland operation. This role is central to expanding the market presence and delivering tailored capital equipment solutions to a diverse commercial clientele.


Primary responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end sales process for new heavy commercial vehicles across three distinct categories:
  • Heavy-duty segment: Prime movers and rigid trucks above 22 tonnes
  • Medium-duty segment: Trucks from 14 to 18 tonnesLight commercial segment: Vehicles below 7.2 tonnes
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow market share with both existing and new enterprise-level clients
• Conduct detailed needs analyses to configure and present optimal vehicle and financial solutions
• Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with key stakeholders in transport, logistics, and trade industries
• Collaborate with internal divisions, including finance and service, to ensure seamless client onboarding and lifecycle management

 
Ideal candidate profile

• Prior experience is required either in truck sales or B2B sales of heavy diesel equipment or light commercial vehicles
• Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts
• Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

• On-target earnings - NZD $150,000 per annum
