We are looking for a skilled and experienced Heavy Auto Electrician for this independent workshop - there are multiple vacancies in Auckland and in Christchurch.
The company
This independent workshop started out as a single branch in Auckland a decade ago and soon became an important service centre for locals. They have since opened up a second branch in Christchurch.
Both branches offer a wide array of services including mechanical, electrical, panel, and fabrication repairs to trucks, trailers, buses, and equipment.
The role and skills sought
This Heavy Auto Electrician role includes both workshop and field service components where you will perform auto electrical repairs on heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and equipment.
A relevant automotive trade qualification is a must. You must also have worked on trucks and trailers and performed auto electrical repairs on these vehicles.
If you have also worked on buses and other heavy equipment, this will be a bonus.
You need to have a heavy vehicle licence.
