The role
This role will suit a technician wanting their first off tools role or those who might already be in a similar role with transferable skills.
The vacancy involves managing the maintenance of a wide variety of fleet vehicles as well as dealing with any issues that arise.
You will be dealing with Service Managers, distributors/manufacturers, and end users on a range of issues from organising repairs to warranty claims and more.
The role, at times, is busy and requires multi-tasking, however, for the driven individual that enjoys a ''no-day-is-the-same'' approach, you will find the role enjoyable and enticing.
You will be responsible for ensuring all company assets are maintained to the highest standard and that compliance requirements are met for the national fleet of vehicles.
In addition to supporting your clients and network you will also be in charge of supporting the team within the business, ensuring a seamless process of vehicle servicing and preparation ahead of vehicles sales.

Requirements for the role
- A relevant automotive trade qualification is required as you will need to offer technical advice when needed
- A heavy diesel trade qualification would be preferred
- You will be well-presented and have top communication skills
- Good computer literacy, a quick thinker, and the ability to multitask are essential skills
- Previous customer service experience is highly advantageous
- Ability to problem solve and make your own decisions
- Have the skills to build strong working relationships in your branch as well as the national branch and franchise network
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team
- A positive attitude complemented with sound business acumen
