About the role
With a reasonably significant mix of Mandarin and English-speaking new vehicle buyers in this higher socio-economic group, the employer requires an experienced automotive dealership Finance & Insurance Salesperson who is bilingual.

The role involves structuring and selling finance/insurance products including operating/finance leases, vehicle insurance, mechanical insurance, Duraseal, accessories, personalised plates, along with other finance and insurance related products.

The role operates across two commanding sites and across new and used vehicle operations. The opportunity is significant.

You will be building lasting relationships with Mandarin-speaking clients and communicating requirements effectively to enhance the sales process. Also being able to build relationships with English speaking clients is essential. Multilingual skills would be of even greater preference.

Other duties:

  • Ensuring strict adherence to fair trading protocols, national distributor compliance standards and dealership processes. A high degree of attention to detail is needed.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to maximise customer value and profitability.
  • Operating DMS systems and other distributor software. The highest standard of personal integrity is required.

Requirements and expectations

  • A clean MOJ/police check is required for the successful candidate.
  • The successful appointee will need to be able to work to achieve targets/KPI's.
  • You will need NZ working rights - evidence will need to be provided prior to your start date.
  • Bilingual expertise: fluency in Mandarin and English (written/spoken) to engage a diverse clientele.
  • Proven F&I track record: 3+ years' experience in high-volume or premium dealerships, with mastery of finance leases, insurance, and compliance.
  • Flexible availability: willingness to work 6 days a week and rotate between North Shore and North Western sites as needed.

The opportunity and rewards
An attractive base salary in line with market conditions is provided, so too attractive commissions for success sales provides a lucrative arrangement, circa mid $100's dependent on skills and abilities. A company car is also provided.

Given both the size and scope of operations, career advancements are possible for those with the ability to grow. While the remuneration and benefits are clearly attractive the employer themselves should perhaps be considered one of the more enticing aspects of the role.

With a reputation carved from decades of excellence on Auckland's North Shore, this will prove a difficult role to beat.
