This role suits a technician with access equipment and/or forklift experience who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working with modern equipment.

The role
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of materials handling equipment, both in the workshop and out in the field.

Your duties will include:
  • General servicing and maintenance of EWPs and forklifts
  • Diagnostic work using the latest equipment
  • Field service repairs and call-outs
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Minor and major repairs
  • Attending breakdowns efficiently and professionally
  • Completing paperwork accurately and on time
  • Liaising directly with clients to ensure high service standards
 
Skills and experience we're looking for
  • Trade qualification as a mechanic
  • Proven post-apprenticeship experience on access equipment/EWPs and/or LPG forklifts or materials handling equipment
  • Strong diagnostic capability
  • Ability to complete major repairs
  • Experience with construction equipment (advantageous)
  • Confidence working largely unsupervised on a range of equipment
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient, accurate, and well-organised work habits
  • A team-oriented attitude
  • Working at Heights licence (preferred but not essential)
