The role
Based in Auckland, this opportunity is with a leading company seeking a trade-qualified diesel mechanic. You'll be responsible for servicing and repairing a broad range of heavy equipment and machinery.

Most work is carried out across the Auckland region. The company represents top-tier franchise brands, servicing material handling equipment, construction machinery, and other high-spec gear.


Skills sought

• Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician
• Solid hands-on experience with construction equipment and/or forklifts
• Ideally, some exposure to hydraulic systems
• Competence in engine and transmission repairs
• High demand for those with experience in both construction machinery and forklifts
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Effective English communication skills and a stable work history
• A clean driver's licence - any additional endorsements are a plus
