Seeking a qualified and experienced Truck Mechanic to join this independent workshop that has multiple vacancies in both their Auckland and Christchurch branches.
There is also a late shift position with the hours of 12h30-21h00 - this role does not require heavy licences.
The company
This independent workshop started out as a single branch in Auckland a decade ago and soon became an important service centre for locals. They have since opened up a second branch in Christchurch.
Both branches offer a wide array of services including mechanical, electrical, panel, and fabrication repairs to trucks, trailers, buses, and equipment.
The role and skills sought
This Diesel Mechanic role will see you in the field and the workshop performing a wide range of repairs and services predominantly on trucks and trailers, but also buses and other equipment including forklifts.
You will need to be a qualified mechanic and will therefore need to hold an automotive trade certificate.
You must have prior experience working on heavy road transport vehicles.
A class 4 or 5 licence is highly sought after.
Remuneration
This role offers market related wage rates - you will be rewarded for your experience.
You will join a well run, independent workshop with the latest diagnostic tools and equipment with the opportunity to work on a variety of brands of road transport and equipment.
