We are seeking an experienced automotive Business Manager to join a high-performing pre-owned vehicle retail operation based in Napier.

This role sits at the heart of a busy dealership environment, supporting a high-volume sales team and helping customers secure finance, insurance, and aftermarket products that suit their needs.

Responsibilities

• Presenting and arranging vehicle finance solutions for customers purchasing pre-owned vehicles

• Offering and selling insurance products and aftermarket protection options

• Working closely with the vehicle sales team to maximise finance penetration and deal completion

• Ensuring all lending and compliance requirements are met

• Managing relationships with multiple finance and insurance providers

• Delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the vehicle purchasing process

• Maintaining accurate documentation and completing all administrative requirements

 
Skills sought

• Previous experience as an Automotive Business Manager, Finance & Insurance Manager, or similar role

• Strong understanding of vehicle finance, lending products, and compliance requirements

• Proven sales ability with a track record of achieving strong penetration and profitability

• Confident communicator with excellent customer relationship skills

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Ability to perform in a high-volume retail environment

• Motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused
