The opportunity
A high-performing automotive dealership is seeking an experienced BMW Technician with proven diagnostic expertise to join its busy workshop.
 
This role is suited to a technician who holds BMW Diagnostic or Master technician status, with formal brand training and a passion for precision, fault-finding, and high-quality workmanship.


About the role
You will be responsible for advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on BMW vehicles, ensuring all work is carried out to strict manufacturer standards.
 
Working within a professional and supportive team, you will play a key role in workshop efficiency while maintaining exceptional technical accuracy.


Key responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on BMW vehicles 
  • Accurately identify and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults 
  • Complete all work to BMW manufacturer standards and dealership processes 
  • Provide detailed diagnostic reports and repair recommendations 
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors on technical findings 
  • Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and safety 
  • Complete all job cards and documentation accurately and efficiently 
  • Participate in ongoing BMW factory training and development 
  • Contribute positively to team performance and workshop culture

What we are looking for
  • Trade qualified Automotive Technician
  • Strong background working with BMW vehicles
  • BMW Diagnostic or Master Technician status highly sought after
  • Proven dealership experience within a European franchise environment
  • Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Proficient with modern diagnostic tools and systems (BMW ISTA experience advantageous)
  • Full, clean driver's licence
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable team player with a professional attitude
