The role
This position is based within a reputable franchise dealership workshop. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and maintenance on light passenger vehicles
- Reporting to the Workshop Foreman and Service Manager
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Adhering to all health and safety standards
- Liaising with parts and service teams to ensure efficient workflow
What we're looking for
- Relevant automotive trade qualification
- Proven experience as a technician in a franchise dealership environment
- Strong capability in servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
- Experience across multiple brands (franchise training is advantageous but not essential)
- Solid diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- A team-focused approach with a strong work ethic
- Positive, professional attitude
