The role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join an established and reputable vehicle dealership and service group in Nelson.
 
As part of the workshop team, you'll perform servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a range of light passenger cars and SUVs — including regular servicing, WOF inspections, mechanical fault-finding, and general vehicle repairs.
 
 
What we're looking for

• A recognised automotive trade qualification
•   Proven experience as a technician working on light vehicles
• A range of brand experience will be considered across European, Asian, or other vehicle brands
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• A current and clean driver's licence
• A safety-first attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly
• A WOF licence or the willingness to obtain one is highly sought after, as is advanced franchise brand training
