If you like fishing and the outdoors, even better.

  • Conduct Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections to NZTA standards

  • Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs

  • Liaise with customers to explain repairs and provide trusted advice

  • Maintain workshop safety and equipment standards

  • Stay updated on evolving automotive technologies and techniques

  • Be friendly and fit in with this smaller but close family business

Skills sought

  • Valid AVI certification (WOF)

  • Good general diagnostic skills and experience in general automotive repairs

  • Strong teamwork ethic with clear communication abilities

  • Valid driver's license

  • Trade qualifications or equivalent experience accepted, providing the appropriate skills are held

In return

Enjoy world-class fishing, dolphin watching, and hiking trails right on your doorstep. Raise your family in a safe, welcoming community surrounded by nature's beauty. Finish your day with a sunset cruise or a swim at iconic beaches like Russell's Long Beach or Paihia's waterfront, or head out fishing with your work colleagues. The warm climate and laid-back lifestyle create the ideal environment for thriving both professionally and personally.

  • Competitive remuneration package

  • Modern workshop facilities

  • Supportive team environment

  • Opportunities for ongoing training
