About the employer
The employer is a large national group with a combination of both popular and niche market brands.
Experiencing rapid growth, the company now requires a Service Manager to lead a technical team across multiple brands.
You will manage a team of technicians, service advisers, forepersons, and a Workshop Controller.
The role requires previous experience working with dealership DMS (CRM) systems and an ability to measure standard workshop KPI's such as productivity, efficiency, unapplied time etc.
Evidence of strong people leadership skills is a prerequisite.
The background sought
Ideally you will have worked your way up from the role of technician having progressed to a similar role such as Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
Consideration will also be given to Automotive Service Managers and After Sales Managers who have the required background but are not qualified.
