This well-established and growing franchise automotive group in Auckland is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team. With multiple sites and popular brands, this business offers long-term career development opportunities and the ability to be located close to home.
You will form an integral part of a high-performing aftersales team, helping to maintain strong customer service levels and efficiency within a busy parts department. The team enjoys a fun, supportive culture and is backed by managers who value and invest in their staff.
The focus of your role will be internal parts sales to a busy workshop, while also handling retail and external enquiries, parts ordering, stock control, and catalogue work.

The focus of your role will be internal parts sales to a busy workshop, while also handling retail and external enquiries, parts ordering, stock control, and catalogue work.
Duties will include:
- Handling incoming enquiries from internal workshop and retail customers (phone, email, and face-to-face)
- Providing consistently high standards of customer service
- Ordering, managing, and receipting parts stock, including stock take
- Providing accurate parts quotes and invoicing
- Identifying correct parts for relevant vehicles using parts catalogues and systems
- Supporting workshop efficiency through timely and accurate parts supply
Skills sought
- Previous automotive parts experience is essential, ideally within a franchise dealership though non-franchise experience will be considered
- Applications from both light and heavy automotive or equipment parts backgrounds will be considered
- Experience using a dealer management or computerised parts system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for parts and the automotive industry
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required
- Full, clean driver's licence
