About the employer
Located close to the Auckland highway, this impressive site pride themselves on their top-notch customer service and experienced parts personnel. You will work in a medium sized parts team and have the opportunity to adapt your skills to the new role whilst being offered the support and training you deserve.
The staff enjoy a fun team culture and are managed by an approachable and well experienced Parts Manager that drives a successful parts department.
Within the role you will be servicing the parts requirements of retail customers and be responsible for stock taking. The position is a phone based role whereby you will be building relationships with your customers and forging these relationships moving forward.
You will be rewarded for your efforts in achieving and surpassing KPI's that have been set out. This role has the scope for growth and, if you are the right fit, you could see yourself in a senior role within no time. The current Parts Manager is looking for someone to work with strategically to continuously improve business and processes.
We are seeking applications from skilled Parts Interpreters who ideally have experience in a franchise automotive dealership. We are unconcerned with which brand your skills lie.
You will already be working with a dealer management software program and be a capable parts specialist, able to read and understand parts catalogues.
You will need at least 2 years of parts experience in the light automotive franchise sector but, if you have experience in a non-franchise environment, we still want to hear from you.
You should have good computer skills and have the ability to work under pressure. Communication skills are important considering the role will be dealing with retail and trade customers over the phone.
