Are you an experienced technician with a passion for agricultural machinery and a drive to support New Zealand's farming community?
We're looking for skilled Agricultural Machinery Technicians to join the team of one of the country's leading agricultural equipment dealerships.
About the company
This company owns and operates more than several dealerships across New Zealand, selling and servicing global brands of tractors and agricultural machinery.
They have distribution centres globally, and are national distributors of various leading brands of farm machinery.
The role
As an Agricultural Machinery Technician, you will play a key role in the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of a wide range of modern farming machinery.
You'll work with advanced equipment, support customers both in the workshop and on-site, and help keep New Zealand's primary sector moving.
Skills required
The ideal candidate would be a mechanic with an agricultural/farming machinery background, with brand experience and/or brand training.
The rewards
Competitive pay plus overtime opportunities, as well as other benefits - rates will range between $34 and $40 per hour.
Training will also be provided to ensure that technical skills are kept up to date and technicians continue to add to and develop their abilities as well as to create opportunities for career advancement within the dealership network.
A vehicle will be provided for field service duties.
The role is permanent with a minimum 40 hours of work per week.

- Relevant automotive trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience working on tractors and other agricultural / farming machinery is first preference
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with modern agricultural technology and electronic systems (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to maintain clear, professional communication with customers and the service team
