We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organised Aftersales Advisor to join this dealership team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong automotive knowledge who enjoys variety, combining front-line service advising with hands-on parts support.
You will act as a key link between customers, technicians, and the parts department, ensuring a seamless service experience while supporting efficient workshop operations.

We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organised Aftersales Advisor to join this dealership team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong automotive knowledge who enjoys variety, combining front-line service advising with hands-on parts support.
You will act as a key link between customers, technicians, and the parts department, ensuring a seamless service experience while supporting efficient workshop operations.
Key responsibilities:
Service Advisor
- Greet customers and manage vehicle service bookings from drop-off through to completion
- Prepare accurate service estimates and explain repairs, maintenance, and warranty work
- Liaise with technicians to interpret repair requirements and communicate progress to customers
- Obtain customer approvals for additional work and manage expectations around timeframes and costs
- Invoice completed jobs and ensure accurate documentation
- Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and follow-ups professionally
- Promote service offerings, maintenance plans, and manufacturer recommendations
- Identify and supply correct parts to technicians and service customers
- Use electronic parts catalogues and dealership DMS systems accurately
- Order parts from manufacturers and suppliers, managing backorders and ETA's
- Receive, check, and process incoming stock and returns
- Maintain parts inventory accuracy and assist with stock control and stocktakes
- Prepare parts quotes and process counter and workshop sales
- Support workshop efficiency by ensuring parts availability and timely supply
Skills and experience
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor and/or Parts Advisor within an automotive dealership
- Strong understanding of vehicle components, servicing, and repair processes
- Experience using dealership management systems and electronic parts catalogues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Current full driver's licence
