Scam alert.
Automotive Employment NZ notifies candidates in the Philippines that there is fake Facebook site set up. How the scam works is that candidates apply through the fake Facebook page which is blue with different logos instead of our crisp clean Automotive Employment NZ Green and circular logo. The fake site also uses the automotiveemployment.co.nz webpage in its fake account.
How the Scam Works
• The Fake Page: Scammers have set up a blue Facebook page using altered logos, but they deceitfully display our official website link (automotiveemployment.co.nz) to appear legitimate.
• The Response: When you apply or message the page, you will receive automated responses in both English and Tagalog.
• The Demand: The scammers will repeatedly demand an "Assurance Fee" of 1,800 PHP. They will claim that your official letter of appointment cannot be issued until this fee is paid, followed by relentless demands for more money.
Remember Our Golden Rule
Automotive Employment NZ will never ask you for money for job placements, processing, or any other recruitment-related services.
Our services are entirely free for job seekers.
