Greymouth
including Westport and Buller.
Greymouth is the largest town on the West Coast. The
population of Greymouth is just over 10,000. During the last century
the town was the focus of the Westland gold boom, and until the
1920s supported the country's coal mining industry. Timber has also
been important to the town.
We often have positions for heavy transport
mechanics in Greymouth.
The
region is full of gold mining history and has a huge diversity of
activities and scenic highlights such as the Franz Joseph and Fox
Glaciers, Haast Pass and many more. Other major towns apart from
Greymouth include Westport and Buller.
Climbing, fresh water fishing, boating, sight
seeing, tramping and many more make up activities in this area.
The close community spirit makes living in this region a "heartland
experience." A place where you will find the true spirit of
Kiwi hospitality, down to earth people and a pace of life the envy
of most.
