Nelson
is a wonderful city situated in the North of New Zealand's South
Island with a population of 78,000 including Nelson and Richmond
urban areas. It is known for its sunshine, friendly relaxed lifestyle
and clean tidy streets.
A reasonably short drive to Nelsons west and will
find you in the Golden Bay region, and a variety of parks and reserves
including the famous Able Tasman walk, the scenery is spectacular.
To your East you will find Rai Valley, the old gold mining area
of Wakamarina Valley where you can still pan for gold and the Marlborough,
Pelorous, Kenepuru and Queen Charlotte sounds. Activities are immense
and include boating, kayaking, crafts, wineries, both salt and fresh
water fishing with all-round spectacular results, spectacular beaches,
cafes, and cinemas art galleries; tramping, camping, overnight Remote
Island stays. Don't forget to book in at Rich and Angela's home
stay in the Wakamarina Valley, Rich is a technician who migrated
over here in 2005. This is one hour out of Nelson and is a magic
place. For $80 you can get a detached chalet with cooking facilities,
a spa pool and experience a uniquely beautiful New Zealand experience.
Bookings can be made through Automotive Employment NZ Ltd.
Nelson itself is a tourist area so nightlife is quite
reasonable also and the close and decent community is a great place
to bring up kids. Schools are also very good in this area.
Good contacts in Nelson with friends and family
now make this a region where we can secure vacancies and it is only
going to get better as this area grows. The huge renewable forestry
industry make this a good spot for diesel mechanics and the wine
industry and fruit growing business nearby also make roles for automotive
technicians achievable. This rapidly growing region is the number
one hotspot for new migrants to move to currently and this means
our contacts in Nelson will prove invaluable. We also fill vacancies
the occasional vacancies for auto electricians, vehicle sales personnel
in a whole host of areas.
